PROGRAM: We will have two mystery guests with us this month. You won't want to miss this meeting. If I told you what they were going to talk about you might know who they are so, I'm not going to tell you. Come and be surprised. We will meet at Traditions at 5:00 PM. December Field Trips Saturday, December 8 - Airlie - Kay Gibson will be taking us up to Airlie next to Warrenton, Virginia. We will meet John Whissel who will take us around Airlie and tell us about the studies of the Swans. There should be many ducks to see while we are there. We will leave from Food Lion in Elkton at 8:00 AM. We can eat lunch in Warrenton before coming home. If you plan to go, call Kay Gibson at 249-5287. Thursday, December 13 – Monthly Hillandale Park Walk – Meet Tom Mizell at the playground parking lot at 8:30 AM for our last fall walk.
2007 Christmas Bird Count – Chuck Auckerman The Rockingham County, Virginia count will be on Saturday, December 15. To participate, sign up at the December club meeting or contact Chuck Auckerman at 828-2065 or clauckerman@comcast.net. Everybody is welcome to participate. There is a $5 fee for those over age 18 that supports the CBC program and bird conservation. We will have our traditional lunch break and midday tally at Thomas House Restaurant at 1:00 PM. | ||
